Always athletic, I was intrigued by the stronger yoga “workout” traditions like Ashtanga, Jivamukti and Vinyasa styles. Also a seeker by nature, I explored the other branches yoga has to offer such as devotional yoga, meditation, positive thinking, relaxation and the profound philosophy.

With over three decades of experience in yoga and holistic wellness, Arati Lane has dedicated her life to coaching that brings the transformative power of ancient practices into a modern setting. As a recognized wellness coach and yoga therapist, Arati helps clients navigate the complexities of life with tailored wellness strategies rooted in the profound sciences of Yoga and Ayurveda.

Experiences

Arati’s journey began in the ashrams, monasteries, and yoga centers of Asia and the US and led her to extensive studies across India, where she immersed herself in the spirituality and therapeutic modalities of Yoga. Her profound understanding deepened through personal challenges, including recovery from a severe injury using therapeutic yoga techniques and the yoga wall, which inspired her to help others heal and thrive.

Based in Dana Point, Arati's practice evolves continually as she explores the symbiotic relationship between body, mind, and spirit. She is particularly passionate about integrating Ayurveda—the science of life—with yoga to address individual needs. Her approach is gentle, focusing on incremental improvements that align with her clients’ pace and comfort levels.

Today, Arati specializes in coaching clients through life’s transitions, from parenting and personal health to spiritual inquiry and emotional resilience. Her offerings are diverse, ranging from postural therapy and alignment-based physical therapy to support for chronic conditions and lifestyle adjustments. Coaching sessions are offered online and in the comfort of your own home for local patrons.

Arati believes in meeting each client where they are, guiding them towards holistic wellness and self-discovery. Her coaching is not about prescribing a one-size-fits-all solution but rather empowering individuals to make informed, sustainable choices that enhance their wellbeing.
